Sylvia traveled happily with Enoch for many years. While we are unsure as to where their travels took them, we do know that they carried these beautiful, well-crafted bags. They most doubtably did not wear velvet or cotton sweatsuits when traveling either. The zippered compartment of the second bag was probably used to hold a pair of shoes. Perhaps they were used for overnight travel, carried along with a garment or suit bag for a wedding or special occasion. While taking the trash out one morning, my pal Michael bought these on his neighbors stoop sale.
You would never know by looking at his choice of footwear, but this man is in his late 60’s. That briefcase, with the gucci webbing and leather (like?) handles is pretty awesome. There’s something special about an unconstructed brief.
What you are gazing at is probably all sold by now. I have way too many photos in my bank, I’m rich there… and share what I’m in the mood of. Sorry if I teased you, they have tons more!
I shared with you a taste of their designer assortment… What I didnt realy touch on is their extensive collection of deadstock and worn sportswear or streetwear from Supreme, Stussy and many other legendary brands! They also have the friendliest staff of any young retailer. I hear they are opening a 2nd store, great news.
Always been a huge fan of this bag. Motorola Razor Copped 2 pairs o' tennies Denim underwear for the kiddies over their diapers. gangster with the red cloth out the back pocket. Stetson Open Road, I mustve shot this hat 100 times since being out West. Love me a needlepoint loafer Love old Jansport! Those vests the Japanese and cool guys everywhere lust for. Huge fan of a proper tab collared shirt. Hazy shot but one of the best looks I saw. Good look rock star. I dont really want to show you the full length, he kinda messed that part up. OK, here it is. We've all seen Buddy Lee dolls, but I never get tired of shooting the lil' guys. Did you read this shirt??
John came to San Francisco to study and worked at Cable Car Clothiers where I had gone and chatted with him on a few occasions. This particular day I saw him walking by the Levi's store in Union Square and had to make a quick photograph. Most young dudes in this country have no idea how to wear such simple items like a tennis, cricket, rugby or whatever you call it staple sweater with a polo shirt under and a chesterfield overcoat!
