THIS ONE BELOW PLEASE BE SURE TO CLICK ON BIGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGG
He told me he was an engineer and that the bldg we were standing outside of , 1411 Broadway was an opera house ! I’ll have to research this one.. He was so rad though, with his pocket protector, dotted tie with checked shirt and a tan seersucker coat.. that pins does me in though! Every time!
Some khakis
This is a member of the Flying Horsemen, group of guys who fly World War II Mustangs at air shows around the globe. Some guys golf, others fly old fighter planes. I was flown out by helicopter to watch them practice, pretty rad. I of course like their flightsuits and that they keep their original paint schemes unlike other planes sponsored by jelly belly and have jelly beans all over them!
I love a Double Breasted suit, but I have only seen a few cotton versions. Spectacular
A Captain catching shut eye.
Love a girl in a trench
One of my favorite shirts when done right, and Im happy Dockers is actually reproducing it. He's murdering it with a nice khaki pant and his Prowalkers from Rockport or Mephisto, and that roller buckle belt!
Classic.
Seersucker Offering From Ascot Chang
I just loved these photos. Been waiting to post them! Hope they scream summer like they do for me!
The interior of a Jacket. That band, so beautiful.. unlined..I feel the breeze blowing through!
These are unfinished as they are made to measure. I think Seersucker suits typically have just buttons without a marking for a buttonhole. You can opt for a fake button hole, functioning button hole or just a button. I love my classic blue jumpy I purchased from Mark Mcnairy about 5 years ago, trousers have no belt loops and have sidebuttons to adjust for the hot overstuffed summer days. I may have to go into Ascot Chang for my next suit as I cant stop thinking about a DB! Double vents or No vents is the question..
Eben
I generally don’t photograph men in boys jackets, but I made an exception with Eben. I wear a 36 R suit and can easily fit into a boys XL or 18-20 and used to do the same, only Im not a musician, Eben is. And at this stage in a young mans life when he is wearing his first suit still trying to master that style- it takes time. And during this time if you can, why not. Ralph Lauren and Brooks Brothers kids suits are cut this large so you may say why not spend less money! The only problem arises when its time to button up, and if you dont, its not that bad.. I remember a shoot we were working on at Men’s Vogue and I pulled all these boys tuxedos from Hickey, RL, Brooks and the size 18 were too large for me.
