With all the shmutz Vegas and these tradeshows have to offer, theres a few diamonds in the rough.. and I believe i found them

I love denim on denim and stay tuned for a full feature on this topic!

He said it was his Michael Jackson tribute

This dude works for Pal Zileri, interesting to see an italian cat with a suit and chucks and harris tweed hat.. he was kinda killing it, minus the wool hat in the desert.. it was 103 degrees

How can you not love a guy with a fishing lure as a pin, cigar in his breast pocket and Belgian loafers? The monkey braces are as much a staple!
If you dont already own and wear a fur felt fedora from Borsalino, dont even think about wearing their ballcap. I want the purple joint bad! (my friends ask me why do they even make a ballcap, do you really want that)
GOURMET in your face, love these guys.. a new take on a bean boot isn't always welcome, but i liked it when Manolo did it for the girls and now from Gourmet.

VINTAGE DETAILING

Interesting fact here, apparently- when you're taken, your girlfriend would cut that tag on the back of the shirt. you may refer to it as locker loop.. when we were in yeshiva we referred to it as something else..

This polo reminds me of the kid that lived across the sreet, he wasnt cool but had a few moe dollars and thought he was.. Now, i kinda dig the clasic styling of it. no side vents and while it looks like a 50/50 blend, its 100% cotton. Love how the logo seems to look like a monogram !!

This T was the best T ive seen in aminute. J Crew did afew 2 yrs back but they were seudo RL, this is pure GANT..

Loving the cable knit crew with those shorter shorts.. pure prep. and the colors of this striped polo are awesome! Check the madras paired with varsity jacket below..
OUR LEGACY - Best new brand I saw at capsule..

YUKETEN

Belowmight be my favorites. The ones on the left are lined a flowered fabric (liberty?)
MONITALY

MARK MCNAIRY
That brown shoe with the blucher, workboot laces are FIRE !!

AND FOR THE GIRLS
This shop is so well merchandised. Every mannequin!

I was pretty mad when my friend Peter told me he was moving to LA, after him pleading with me to come out there, I finally paid a visit and glad I did. All the years of us chatting about Balenciaga, Alden and Turnbull are finally paying off…

When they broke down the walls, they found this really old graffiti on the bricks. Im glad they left it exposed like they did. Its not in your face- you sorta have to almost look for it..

The shop has an incredible selection of vintage shoes, boots and outerwear to compliment the new pieces by Left Field, Alden, Sugar Cane and soon to come shirts by MISTER MORT.

Love a short sleeve sweatshirt, this vintage joint is no exception !

PLease click on this here military shirt jacket and see enlarged

Run by Peter, his Lady Rosa and vintage expert Bill;is this truly magnificent shop. Really a comfortable shopping atmosphere, in fact, you only get spoken to if you so desire, otherwise help yourself! No salesman following you from item to item lecturing you about the designer and all that bullshit. Just quality garments and shoes and good conversation. The space is really nice and open, clean with a emphasis on reused wood and steel for the fixtures and quality on the clothing. Michael Williams wrote a great piece on Craft for GQ’s blog as well
