Marcus stays fancy. Love how his DB jacket fits so well. A trend I see and dont love is fellas having their shirt cuff rolled over the blazer or sweater, HOWEVER, I like how Marcus does it. I think its simply cuffed because its long and he doesnt want it to extend too much, I dont think he tried to really expose it expose it and cuff it over the blazer… You can see what I/m saying on his left cuff, how it isnt really how the kids are doing it. Nick Sullivan of Esquire Magazine looking smart also in a cotton DB jacket. Thomas Oatman of New Republic Clothiers And a good DB lewk from Antonio Azzuolo. His sweaters as usual, were pretty awesome. Oh how I love this man. He shakes his head and says, sure take my picture if you want, I do need a haircut though. And sure enough, I found out he had gotten his hair cut later that day! Sorry Jerry, I’d have waited but needed this early morning photo.
Colin Eisler says “sure, take my picture, but you should come with me to the steps outside of my werk. My wife was photographed there for a fashion magazine once” I went along for the walk, but the lighting wasn’t werking for me. He also let me know all his clothing are from various second hand stores around NYC. What I would do for a DB khaki suit…
Probably the coolest kid I shot the entire Fashion Week in NY. Abdoul is so cool and a true modest individual. I saw him at a few presentations I attended and of course wanted to shoot him at each one. He was cool with it, but I get super nervous when I love someones lewk and know the person is shy for lack of a better word.
Tucked away in San Francisco’s North Beach neighborhood is Al’s Attire. At first glance I thought it was a custom shoe maker but after a look inside you can see Al makes shirt, pants, hats and lots of crazy stuff.. I love a retail space thats trapped in time, old hat boxes decorating the walls etc…Thats Al in the denim coveralls. While I dont love everything, I love that he sews everything right there and shapes & blocks hats!
These were a pair of standard issued Dockers K1 khaki trousers before Michael got at them. I met up with my friend for lunch yesterday and he had his pre pebble beach us open look working. Its San Francisco so a corduroy blazer is completely acceptable I might add. He is also the most adventurous straight guy I know when it comes to dressing. He is the coolest dad I know. His wife and kids are pretty rad as well!
