Saw this man just outside Hermes and he happen to be wearing an Hermes hat and gloves. The overcoat and trousers may be as well but I’m pretty sure the shoes are Peal & Co. i had a pair exactly like them years ago. So mad I ever got rid of them but they were covered in paint from running with the likes of earsnot et al.
Had to yell at him for not wearing a scarf. At least have one and wear the millionaire way. Anyhow, it’s a nice coat with an inexpensive fedora. You don’t have to buy a Borsalino. So you might say whats the chidush here, what’s new? To that I’ll answer it’s young dude wearing the same thing as many older gents I shoot only he’s younger. I want to show how easy it is to dress like a man.
Digging through my archives I found this photo I made a year or two ago. He wasnt exactly in-or-out of style then, and is just as fly now- so I thought to post since Im longing for the streets of The Gotham City.
So very good to see this couple, her in a Borsalino or Stetson, him in a Filson or more casual style hat than her fedora. I saw at least four people in straw hats in NYC over the holidays. Too bad the wind didn’t just take it off and save them.
