The New Tuck ~ From The Street To The Runway ~ NYFW FW11
Dude works at Billy’s on Houston. Oddly enough, I saw him AFTER the Perry Ellis show where just about every model was styled with their pant tucked into his sock! Under his amazing sweatshirt he had on a cream turtleneck!
A Peak Lapel Hudson Bay Coat worn with A Porkpie Hat & Bowtie
If you have visited my website/log before, you may have seen this dude before. I have shot him over and over since I first saw him walking in SoHo about twelve years ago. I think he’s been on here twice, the first time wearing the same coat. Most recently in the spring or summer wearing a madras plaid blazer, sweater tied around his waist or worn over his shoulders and silk knit tie outside Bergdorf Goodman where he does visual merchandising. Love a man that loves to get dressed! Can’t get over the color of his hat. Really beautiful!
Casey ~ All Black Everything
Casey Egan was a pro surfer back in Australia and competed with the best of them. Here in the shity by the bay, he still surfs just about every week. He is also responsible for the new Levi’s EXgirlfriend jean. A jean for fellas who want that skinnyjean rockstar look. I wanted to shoot his look yesterday, it was pretty much the same thing but he had on this black denim vest with a black lace shooting patch on the shoulder!
Brooks
If you've stopped in the Nolita RRL shop you know the fellas in there are of the nicest of retail specialists. Exactly the opposite of most stores today, you can actually hang out there, have a decent conversation that's not all about 'where'd you get those?' Brooks came to NYC a few years ago from sunny California and brings those vibes to Prince Street. Saw him earlier today at Ray's in a great old fedora and was reminded of these photographs I took last winter. One of the great things about working retail for RRl must be that you don't have to wear all Ralph Lauren product when working. The kids there are able to mix it up and do that quite well. I don't think they would wear other modern designers but they do mix vintage better than most people I see these here days.
