Paris Fashion Week FW12
Wish you could see Sam’s scarf. They dress today how my father dressed when he graduated rabbinical school. Small brim, beard and all..
The 2 images below are Visvim soldiers. Shot on the outside. Wouldn’t dare make pictures in the showroom. The tipi smelled beautiful. Like fresh buffalo skin if I’ve ever smelled it.
Milan Fashion Week FW12 ~ Beppe, Robert, Anna, Diego Della, Modelboys & More
Saw dude scratching lottery tickets parked outside Zegna.
Dude on left needs a new trend to jump on. Dude on right at least has his hat on about right. meaning, it’s not about to fly off his head..
He’s not that boss, just liked the image.
Just a lovely couple walking by. Ahhh!
When we were in Yeshiva, we’d try and get this haircut, only wear the hat down so the Rabbi would never see it!
Diego della Valle
Beppe!
Cut exactly where I like it! Philly, JP., Rasta style..
Wearing Ferragamo outside the show..
Eric Jennings. What I love about a wool fedora like his? It could be Hermes or found at any old hat shop. It looks like wool, not cheap fibers.
Whoever in the Dior press office loans her bags should really take the stickers off. This is 2 seasons in a row.. Oy. But she is just amazing.

I like the way he mixed a workwear jacket under a vintage varsity jacket with Dickies
He bought this Alpha Industries coat about 20 yrs ago. It looks brand new.
Thy’re doing the blankie thing…
Leather shorts!
One of the best looks I saw. Wide wale cords, tasseled loafers and that down hat!!
These down blazers were everywhere, I kinda want one. I like how John is wearing it. Not too dressy.
Terry Ellis
Love how casually they wear overcoats!
I do love this classic American look. A duffle (probably not Gloverall, wish it was), crew neck sweater over a turtleneck!
That coat is so boss!
This was the most impressive new collection I saw. m’s braque, from Paris.
This shirt was the 1s item to grab my attention. Reminds me of an old Nicole Miller tie or Moschino print..
Again, most Americans look costumey. Not Sean, simple DB, spread is a bit dressy, but hey, we are in Florence. I might not have hemmed the jeans, but that’s me. All in all, it’s perfect.
Dude from bstore again. If he was American this would’nt work as well. I dont mean to be so hard on our people, it’s just that the shorter proportions tend to look not as natural. I could do because I’m not tall, but a real man size might have a harder time.
This is one of the 1st times I didnt mind long hair worn with a fedora.
Some Details ~ Top, Mid & Lowers of Pitti Uomo FW12
One of the 3 Inventory dudes. They were on my best dressed list. Not Peacocking at all, all in classic, practical layers.
Dude from 14 oz. Paisley bowtie with gingham LVC western, Gloverall!,
Wanny di Filippo
Acne patent leather ‘desert boots’ with bows!! Kinda want these.
Daiki of Engineered Garments. What a perfect jacket. Apears to be classicly tailored w/ extra pocket.
Nick Sullivan of Esquire.
Paisley Dr. Marten’s, not sure if thyre men’s but they’re killer.
Stripes, polka dots and I think that’s fair isle under the striped T.
The Japanese love their Paraboot..
